Sotogrande Ends 2024 With A Year Of Success

One of the key highlights of the year was Sotogrande’s recognition as the Best Residential Golf Destination in the world by Golf World. This prestigious award highlights the unique combination of lifestyle, privacy, and world-class golf facilities that make Sotogrande a leader in global golf destinations.

Sotogrande also revealed plans for a new Golf Academy, currently under construction at the SO/ Sotogrande Spa and Golf Resort. This state-of-the-art facility will offer beginner to professional training and aims to become the region’s top golf academy.

In 2024, Sotogrande made significant progress in sustainability and new property projects. The area’s hotel sector shone with the SO/ Sotogrande Spa and Golf Resort Hotel winning the title of Best Golf Hotel in Spain at the International Property Awards, and Best Wellness Hotel in Spain at the World Luxury Spa Awards. The hotel is known for its world-class service, excellent dining, and extensive amenities.

Sotogrande also received further recognition in international golf rankings. Golf World placed it 6th in its list of the Top 100 European Resorts, a rise of eleven places, while National Club Golfer kept it in 3rd place for European Resorts, solidifying its position as Spain’s leading golf destination.
