Dubai defeated MB Polo 9-8 to win the high goal Electrolit Gold Cup in Sotogrande on Saturday, August 26.
MB Polo had a better start to the match and led 4-3 at halftime. However, Dubai came out strong in the second half and outscored their opponents 3-0 in the fifth chukker to take the lead. MB Polo struggled in the final chukker, but Dubai managed to hold on for the narrow victory.
Camilo Castagnola and Pablo MacDonough each scored two goals for Dubai, while Adolfo Cambiaso added one. For MB Polo, Pelon Stirling led the scoring with four goals, while Juan Martin Nero added two and Pablo Pieres had one.
It is worth noting that Dubai not only won the high goal Gold Cup for the second consecutive year, but they also claimed the same significant achievement back in 2016.
