A Minimalist Masterpiece In Sotogrande
Fran Silvestre Arquitectos has presented a new minimalist home in Sotogrande, Spain, designed to blend seamlessly with its coastal golf course surroundings.
Defined by clean lines and a restrained material palette, the house features a cantilevered roof that provides shade from the Cádiz sun and protection from the heavy rains of the Sierra de Grazalema.
At the heart of the design is a wooden volume, ensuring privacy while adding warmth. The home’s glass façade, overhanging roof, and ground-level integration create a balance of openness and intimacy. A reflective water feature enhances both aesthetics and sustainability by regulating temperature naturally.
With a compact layout, central skylights, and an infinity pool merging with the landscape, this residence embodies refined, sustainable living in Sotogrande’s exclusive community.
